Symphony Financial Partners is a long established, Asia-based asset manager founded in 2000 by David Baran and Kazuhiko Shibata, veteran finance professionals with over 20 years of experience in Asian markets. The award-winning firm has the distinction of holding many firsts in their field including, first hedge fund-led management buy-out and first and only hedge fund to defeat a poison pill plan. Most recently they were named the “Best Asian Hedge Fund” of 2014 by Eurekahedge and “Asian Based Asset Manager of the Year” in the 2014 International Hedge Fund Awards.

 

The Board Director Training Institute (BDTI) is a "public interest" nonprofit in Japan dedicated to training about directorship, corporate governance, and related management techniques.
