With the generous support of a sponsoring company, Oasis Management Company Ltd. (“Oasis”), BDTI offers a program designed to support women who have the potential and ambition to serve as corporate directors.

Oasis is an investment firm that places strong emphasis on enhancing corporate value and advancing corporate governance. Based on these principles, this program aims to help develop the next generation of outstanding directors and executive leaders. Oasis will cover 100% of the tuition fee for applicants who are selected through the screening process.

Through BDTI’s practical director training programs, participants will gain the knowledge and skills needed to contribute to stronger corporate governance and long-term corporate value creation. We look forward to receiving your application.

Information & Procedures for Application

【Application Period】

August 17, 2026 (Monday) – September 11, 2026 (Friday)

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Once all available seats have been awarded, applications will close. Early application is strongly encouraged.

【Eligibility】

Individuals who demonstrate strong potential to serve as corporate directors.

【Programs Covered by the Initiative】

「Governance School 」
October 16, 2026 (Friday), December 15, 2026 (Tuesday), February 9, 2027 (Tuesday), March 4, 2027 (Thursday)
This one-day intensive program provides the fundamental governance knowledge expected of directors and executive officers. Topics include corporate governance theory and practice, the Companies Act, the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act, and practical case studies taught by experienced professionals.

English “Director Boot Camp”
November 24, 2026 (Tuesday) – Online
This interactive program equips participants with the legal and corporate governance knowledge required to serve on the boards of both listed and private Japanese companies. Through discussions and Q&A sessions, participants develop practical skills for addressing issues commonly encountered in boardrooms.

【Application Requirements】

Applicants are expected to cooperate with the following:

1. Complete the post-course evaluation survey (required).
2. Share your experience of the program on your social media account(s) after completing the course (required).
When posting, please tag BDTI’s official account or send the URL or a screenshot of your post to the BDTI.

Your cooperation helps introduce BDTI’s activities to a wider audience.
After completing the course, participants will also have the opportunity to register their résumé in the BDTI Director Bank, which may lead to future opportunities as a director or independent outside director.

【Application procedures】

Please submit the following documents in English:
1. Your most recent CV or résumé (free format; Japanese-language résumés will not be accepted).
2. A statement (maximum 250 words) describing your experience and skills that demonstrate your potential to serve as a corporate director.

Please email both documents to info@bdti.or.jp, clearly indicating the program name and your preferred course date.
Applications will be reviewed by Oasis based on the submitted CV, and Oasis will determine whether the applicant is awarded the program.

【Selection Process】

The review and selection will be conducted by the sponsor. BDTI will notify applicants of the results by email. Those who are approved should then apply for the relevant course through the website.

【Important Notes】Please read the following carefully before applying.

・A confirmation email will be sent after we receive your application. If you do not receive confirmation within a few days, please contact the BDTI office at info@bdti.or.jp.
・Each applicant may only apply for one course.
・Individuals who have previously participated in a BDTI course through this program are not eligible.
・Applications must be submitted by individuals. Corporate applications will not be accepted.
・If your preferred course date becomes full, we may offer you an alternative session.
・The sponsor’s review process generally takes one to two weeks after your application is received.
・By applying for this program, you are deemed to have consented to the sharing of your personal information and submitted CV with Oasis, in accordance with Section 4 (Provision to Third Parties) of BDTI’s Privacy Policy.
・Your information will be managed separately by both BDTI and Oasis and handled appropriately in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

Applicants are responsible for any cancellation fees
・No changes of course date or cancellations are allowed.
・Cancellations made 3 weeks prior to the event date will be charged 50% of the course fee.
・Cancellations made within 3 days of the event or on the day of the event will be charged the full amount of the course fee.
