Sachiko Ichikawa has been awarded the Governance Prize at the “BUSINESS LAWYERS AWARD 2025.”
We are pleased to announce that Sachiko Ichikawa, a Director of our organization has been awarded the Governance Prize at the Business Lawyers Award 2025.
The judge commented that…
“The judging panel noted that Ms. Ichikawa not only demonstrated foresight by engaging with corporate governance at an early stage, but has also, over a long period, developed and sustained high-quality seminars and workshops on corporate governance with unwavering conviction and enthusiasm. While her activities include a pro bono aspect, there are few who can dedicate themselves to a single theme with such passion. Including her work as an outside director, it would not be an exaggeration to call her a pioneering figure in corporate governance.”
She received high praise for these accomplishments.
For many years, Director Ichikawa has dedicated herself as an instructor for BDTI’s “Governance Seminar,” “External Directors Program,” and “Case & Role-Play” sessions. Participants have highly praised her for teaching in a clear and thorough manner, based on concrete, real-world examples.
