The Advanced Director School covers key themes where outside directors are expected to play an active role, such as advising on and overseeing strategy, appointing and removing the CEO, determining compensation, and responding to activist investors. This program is for those who wish to understand the practical aspects of a director&#8217;s role and responsibilities and actively contribute. Participants will experience discussions simulating board meetings, addressing specific case studies and real-world challenges.<\/p><p>Although named the \u201cAdvanced Director School,\u201d this course is designed for individuals serving as directors both within and outside their companies. There is no distinction between internal and external directors regarding their responsibilities and obligations. The first step toward enhancing governance begins with all directors sharing a common understanding.
