Currently, with the Tokyo Stock Exchange promoting \u201cmanagement mindful of capital costs and stock prices,\u201d companies are under increasing pressure to improve their PBR (price-to-book ratio). In addition, rising investor expectations and the emergence of activist investors have made basic financial literacy essential for directors and executive officers.<\/p>

However, it has been pointed out that directors of Japanese companies generally lack sufficient knowledge of finance and accounting compared to their counterparts in other major countries. In response to this situation, we are pleased to invite Masahiro Shimizu, President and CEO of CFO Room Inc., as the instructor for a six-session finance training program, \u201cFinance Workshop,\u201d designed for those who lack confidence in financial matters.
The program is structured to provide thorough learning, from financial fundamentals to practical applications.
