A. Governance School<\/a><\/strong> is designed primarily for executive officers, those in charge of governance, and new directors (both internal and external). However, we often receive feedback that even experienced directors have much to gain, and CGC also notes the importance of continuous update opportunities. Advanced Director School<\/a><\/strong> is designed for outside directors and auditors who have already attended the Governance School or have basic knowledge equivalent to the Governance School. However, the course is also beneficial to internal participants and can be taken by them as well. A\uff0eThe Governance School<\/strong> provides foundational knowledge for directors, covering topics such as \u201cWhat is a company?\u201d along with the most critical operational issues in corporate governance, directors’ responsibilities and essential perspectives, and practical aspects of the Companies Act and board of directors meetings, including the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act. Experts in each field serve as instructors, delivering interactive training that combines lectures and discussions. By reading the case studies in the pre-distributed materials and actively participating in discussions during the workshop, participants should achieve a higher level of proficiency. The goal is to foster a sense of conviction among participants and enable them to acquire knowledge that truly clicks, knowledge they can put into action.

The Advanced Director School<\/a><\/strong> covers practical themes essential for effective boardroom performance, including strategic advice and oversight, CEO appointment and removal, compensation decisions, and activist shareholder engagement. Participants gain concrete understanding of directors’ roles and responsibilities while experiencing real-world case studies and challenges through simulated board discussions.<\/p>

Case Role Play<\/a><\/strong> course is a case-based executive training program designed by BDTI using actual incidents as motifs, where participants engage in role-playing. Participants will be assigned a role to play and think about how they would behave and what they would say at a board meeting. A\uff0e Generally, completion of the Governance School<\/a><\/span> covering fundamental knowledge for directors is required. You must have already completed the \u201cGovernance School\u201d.
